Description Some sort of scene I had in mind.
The bird wants to properly introduce herself.

It was fun to draw this, I've been thinking about starting a comic for a while now, but it's really daunting. I made this to see how hard it would be to draw, the city in the background is where the story I've been thinking about would take place, so I wanted to see if I could make it look how I wanted it to, it seems to have gone well, though it took a long time to finish.

YES, absolutely make a comic out of this. I'd read it for sure. The guy's arm forms a slight tangent with the rail here, though, so I'd be careful about that in the future. But yeah, I agree with making some test pages. It'd be helpful to pin down the style of speech bubbles and lettering, as well as how different effects (fire, rain, lightning, etc) should look. Good luck!

Whoops, didn't even notice about that tangent there, thanks for pointing it out.
If you have any more tips about what you think I should focus on the test pages I'd like to hear them, I'm really clueless about making comics, I've been making some page sketches so far but I'm still trying to figure it out.

Pretty nice colors, and great composition with the city in background. And I think if you keep on doing these kind of drawings, you're speed will improve because then you'll start only focusing on the major things, and giving the effect of presemce for the other oarts. Best of luck with your comic, you could try by doing 1 page multipanel comic too tobsee how it will go

I agree, a lot of the time was also spent looking at reference and figuring out how it should look, so that should also help, and I think most panels wouldn't have such a detailed background.

I'll probably make some test pages later on, it seems like a good idea.

Yes I was thinking the same. Only the panels where you reallly really want to convey a veryyyy strong feeling can have detailed backgrounds. Otherwise, just a sense of them would work fine. A detailed art like this can actually work as your title page or front page. It really gives that kinda strong feeling

Yup, I'll have to just make some pages first to know how to do it properly.

The art in this is great, especially the expressions, and the scenery is just lovely. You have a very pretty style, especially with your colors and how you draw clothes, something I personally would see as working well for a comic. If you have a good story, you should give it a try! Though if it seems overwhelming maybe you could start with a mini comic and work from there?

Thank you, I might try some sort of mini comic to see how it goes, I would like to do something like that anyway, so I have nothing to lose.
