Description
These creatures are believed to have fallen from the sky following the Great Solar Eclipse of the Inner World. Not many people have come across one and those who have were never heard of ever again. These creatures live in unexplored caves of mountain ridge of Tsukhaar. It is said that the creatures cannot exist without darkness or shadow and therefore are put into the evil category usually compared to vampires or other species despite of their believed alien heritage. The mountain people often mentioned creatures that fit Ignii description as masters of hypnotism. They speculated that many who never returned were memorized by the unusual magenta flames covering the centaur's body which made the victims not flee but do quite opposite of that...winner of C.O.W

Extraordinary work on the flames. The color composition certainly adds to the overall mysterium of the piece.

I keep coming back to this. It is just so good, it feels so powerful with the dark energy it radiates. I want to buy a print.

VERY nicely done fire! You handled one of the things that vexes artists around the world in an extremely believable way.

pretty cool, leaving offside the appearance with "alien", how do you do the flames? brushes? a photo manipulation? handmade? i need how do you do! xD, they are really great

thanks!
i pretty much used all of the things you mentioned in a combination. I used real fire pictures for some photo manipulation - color correction, contrasts, overlays. Then applied several photoshop filters and touched them up with regular brush. I actually don't use any custom brushes

I want to say something but there's not much to say....wow, dude...just, just wow. I love this. the shading, coloration, lighting is just unreal. You should look at being a concept designer or soemthing along those lines.

Head closely resembles the Xenomorph creatures from the Alien movies. Might think about reworking that.

Burning hell!
This is amazing! I really am tempted to shout for joy, but it's quiet at home...lol.
This reminds me so much of Alien vs Predator (the head design), Night Elves from Warcraft, and the Protoss from Starcraft.
Hallelujah, something DIFFERENT in fantasy art! It's not just elves and centaurs and men and dragons!!

Oh god i love last resort answers !
That still doesn't explain how the mountain people can speculate about creatures they never seen or heard of...

haha they can speculate about these creatures just as we speculate about god devil demons and angels nobody really saw one before but somehow we all know the tales of what they may look like.

That doesn't mean that the deamon and angels exist, even tough we dream and talk about them.

The figure itself is amazing, the colour reflections are gorgeous, but I like your fast and furious background (in relation to the character) almost as much, the same aura of 'skill' flows from it as much as your delicious rendering of this demon/beast's head. From the rough atmosphere to the crisp detail, this pic is almost a mini tutorial. And its grimdarky evil. Gotta love it!

Heh, This is some strange mix between the aliens from the film "Alien", and a bit horse, a bit of this and that and just raw, pure beauty. Wonderful. DD well deserved.
