The Jade Jukebox from the land of 1000 folded ohms.Most of you probably have no idea what I'm talking about and are seriously missing out.
This is from radio story called "The Fourth Tower of Inverness" in a series called "The Adventures of Jack Flanders"
Easily the most amazing stories ever told: endless imagination, creativity, silliness, and deep meaning all at once. I don't know anyone who hasn't listened to one of these stories and not fallen in love.

Me too, I've been listening to them since I was really little which is amazing because its so complex i know i missed almost all of what was really going on when I was that age but listening to them never gets old because you'll always pick up something you missed the times before! I'm glad you like it

I know right? I've never met someone who listens to them outside of my family who i didn't have to introduce it to first. And I try to introduce it to as many people as possible

This painting is full of win. I'm a major 4th Tower fan m'self. I'll admit when I listened to it, I didn't really have a clear idea of what this might look like, but I do very much like this image.

Yeah something still makes me really doubt that it would look like this either, seeing as it just emits so much light etc. but I really wanted to paint it anyway. Honestly, none of the images ever FULLY come to me which is maybe why I keep listening again and again. I am so glad to see other Jack fans out in the world

Not the Jack Flanders ones. I've only recently gotten into him. I was introduced to ZBS material when my dad played me a track from Ruby 2. Then I got hooked on the Ruby series and managed to grab 90 Second Chillin' Cell Phone Theater in the mix. Now I wants lots more. Got Two Minute Film Noir on my Christmas list. Anyways, ZBS rocks. Currently working on a group portrait of how the various characters of Fourth Tower look to my mind. Like Little Frieda the most so far, but it's difficult to draw her slight overbite...

I've only heard the first Ruby, but I did like it. However, I grew up on the Jack Flanders series. My parents used to play it on long car rides long before i even knew what was really going on in the stories. I haven't heard any of the Two Minute Noir though. Little Frieda is my favorite character out of all of the Jacks for sure... Closely followed by his uncle.

Sounds to be great memories. I like Sir Jowels as well, particularly the bit where they're fighting off ghosts in the desert of burning desires...and having tea at the same time. I admit I've got a soft spot for Dr. Mezula, too. I like Jives, but am a bit leery of drawing him in this age of political correctness given that he pretty much was a minstrel show stereotype. Believe me, the Ruby series is worth continuing, especially for Rodant Kapoor. This little guy really develops over the series.

Yeah I liked Ruby and I love the android sisters, it's just sometimes you think maybe I'd rather do something else with this $50... but I haven't gotten a new story in a long time so maybe I should finally invest in some new ones. If you like Sir Henry Jowels and fighting off ghosts over tea you should listen to Midnight and the Casa Luna? I think that is what it is called. Dr. Mezula is also a very fun one and Jives makes me laugh but he is in my opinion the most racially stereotypical character in the whole series.

yeah I got the oil paints for my birthday and started working on it very diligently at first but then kinda started taking month longs breaks etc... you know how it goes >.>
