so turns out my jinty mesh was completely out of scale, the frames were too close together and since i tend to scale things based on wheel and rail width it made the engine just barely poke out of the top of the British loading gauge

so i've fixed that now, mostly because i'm bored and i'm having issues finding a project to work on
it's a "yeah i have 59 games on steam but i don't know which one to play" situation
and since this thing was modelled in a really out of scale way, a bunch of stuff in the mesh is slightly off in placement, such as splashers and maybe the brakepipes

other than that, he's good now and not taller than a duchess
