Very nice, give us more detail on how you made it, how much time it took, etc!
I'm so jealous that drawings like this get so much more attention than chain mail work. Although your drawing is awesome and I am not trying to discredit you in any way! Keep going!

Fantastic paintwork! There are many photomanip ppl here on dA who get about the same results, but the difference is that they use photos and you apparently did it from scratch. Sweet work!

Hey, it's the Big Whack! Well, okay, you may or may not have intended it as such, but it's beautiful and evocative of that event, and it gives me handy names for commenting on the subject matter.
The cracks climbing up Theia's side are beautiful, as is the light on Earth's limb. I'm trying to wrap my head around the slight graininess in the starfield behind it -- I guess that's supposed to be there, making the galaxy's arm look more realistic. It's slightly distracting, though. Also, the backscatter light on the dark side of Earth isn't particularly astronomically believable (not that I'm an astronomer, heh), but it's far too beautiful not to give a thumbs-up to. Artistic license FTW.
Summary: Quirky astronomically, gorgeous artistically. Wow!
