Description
I love the way clouds cast shadows on the snowy flanks of our local volcano. The additional texture it lends to the massive edifice of snow and rock we know as Mt. Hood makes all the fine details seem to pop out in stark dimension. Add in a foreground layer of evergreens, and suddenly the scale of things becomes inescapably evident.

I will never stop taking pictures of this mountain.
