Yeah. I'm... not sure what that has to do with anything, though? They didn't have names back before Demona got the clan wiped out, and after that, well... If Des knew enough about Demona to know her name then I'm not sure why she wouldn't know enough to know that and I'm just not sure why she'd pick a name that was so close to Demona's.
... I just looked up the meaning of the name Desdemona and I think I get it.

Demona and Desdemona are rookery sisters. Not biological sisters. And the coincidence of their names is just that. Because they were setting up an "Othello" dynamic with the three souls inside Coldstone. Othello, Desdemona, and Iago... and those aren't their actual names, just designations in the script. They don't exist inside the show. The only names they ever had were Coldstone, Coldfire, and Coldsteel.

Haha, yeah. I always thought that Desdemona's name was chosen because Demona took on the name Demona, which always struck me as odd because why would they want a name similar to Demona? But then I read the meaning of Desdemona and... yeah. Coincidence.

You can buy the DVD's online, but they are expensive now due to their now rarity. You could also try hunting for vids online, but many are of low quality and incomplete. There are also the comics that continued the show for an additional season beyond the cartoon.
