Description one of my favorite Godzilla movies. The only thing missing was some serious city-levelling!

Most of that city leveling went into a failed rematch between Godzilla and the Super X-2 in Osaka.

Now we knew that the pilot of the Super X-III learned his lesson from that fight (the same guy who remotely piloted the Super X-2 piloted the Super X-III in Godzilla vs Destroyah).

i feel like legendary could totally make Biollante work all they would need to do is have it be a little more plant like and almost like a fungus that's spreading

Man, I'd love it if they brought Biollante back! And you can never go wrong with fungus.

This is an amazing piece! I love the mood of the pic, and Biollante is my favorite Godzilla kaiju. Awesome job

Again, fine conveyance of Biollante's sprawling mass between that skyscraper-dwarfing main 'stalk' and the long, looping flytrap-tendrils. As for Big G himself, while his visible eye seems a touch beady & dorsals a bit undefined, the toothy muzzle & overall proportions are faithfully rugged-though props are due for rendering those arms a bit longer & stronger-looking than the 90's norm. Plus, your ray-rendition conveys crackling power with panache. Wouldn't mind seeing this in poster or tape/DVD/Blu-ray cover format.

Thanks! I'm always excited to see comments that go into a bit more detail. Since you mentioned it, I actually struggled a lot with the eye, not knowing exactly if I wanted to go for the 90's eyes or do something else. I guess it shows : D

Damn man, ever time I see speed painting like this I just get so jealous. I've tried it time and time again with utter lackluster results. You do it damn well. I'm glad you didn't put too much detail in Biollante in the background. She works so much better as a shadowed like figure. But man, you did a good job. I'm not really a fan of dark images that use a lot of blacks and greys, (mostly cause I just love color too much), but you make it work dang well. I give you props, you got a good talent with this style of art

Thanks a lot! I appreciate it, and actually love the colorful posters of the 90's godzilla movies. Maybe I'll get "the feel" for it at some point : D

Maybe But honestly I think you have a great style for that type of dark imagery and story. Well I mean face it. Godzilla vs Biollante is a very dark movie and has a really good story. That's not to say I think it would work for everyone now I can't see a really dark image of King Ghidorah. I mean it's a gold dragon. He has to shine
