Description

A fun little ruined tower on a small mound of grass and rock…

Maybe it holds a hidden treasure, or an underground lair behind a secret entrance.
Maybe it’s going to be where your players get ambushed, or perhaps where they meet Binroh the Heretic and sometime sage of long lost empire.
You decide.

Whether gaming or telling a story, have fun imagining new things.
Cheers, J

Beautiful and interesting! It reminds me of Nuraghe in Sardinia

You just sent me off on an hour long journey through Sardinia.
Very interesting structures and locations.
I'd seen some pictures but wasn't really aware of the culture and history before now.
So, thank you for the link. Have you visited any of these?

You're welcome It's such a fascinating culture!
I've been there a couple of times. Look at the Mamuthones, they dress like this during Carnival.

Personally I think the treasure here is above ground: the old ruins themselves are the treasure, and the only thing that would ambush my party there would be the insects because it's a wonderful picnic spot. Sure, finding a secret entrance would be a bonus, and if Binroh shows up we'll definitely give him a beer and some chow.

You did a great job showing the character of the place, even down to the varied stones. Clearly this is pretty ancient, with the already rough fallen (battered) stones being worn even more and a path already formed through the base. Though the only thing that has me wondering is that the huge stones on the left hint at a larger structure, so where did all of those stones go? Was this originally a warning outpost which was in the process of being built up, but destroyed before work could get very far? Or perhaps most of the old stones were carted off for use in something newer, sturdier? All that is pretty fun to think about too, so thanks for all this lovely fun.
