Finally got around to doing the color version of these weapons. Not quite as I originally envisioned them. The first one is as I imagined I suppose but the second and third are different though. Cheers.

No. But I have been drawing for many years.
That said, I started doing digital color work maybe 6-8 years ago.
It's really just a lot of practice and experimenting.
Everyone can do it. It just takes focus and practice.

I wasn't sure if people would like the color scheme on that one. It's different.
I wanted to try that blued steel sort of look.
I always try to design my stuff with the thought of how one would use it.
I'm not knocking those overly spikey sorts of weapons - they look cool - but they would not be very practical to use.
You'd likely cut yourself.

I think it's the swirling patterns in the wood mainly. Sorta give it a Maori feel.
