Well it's finally done. Sirius and his little partner Artemis all colored up! <3I had a bigger reason to color this since I'm gonna be posting this in an art show and will be shown at Ringling School of Art and Design (which happens to be VERY close to me XD).
I really like how it came out. Had to fix a few things from the original sketch.
I finally decided on a hair color for Artemis. It's a brown color with lighter tips. I didn't want such a bright color for her hair and I wanted something to at least go with her fur color.
As you can tell, you can guess Sirius' Light and Arte's Shadow elements by the background. I didn't add too much detail on Suigetsu: Mangetsu (the name of the sword's current form).

And the work on contrasts is good too, light and darkness, tall and little, threatening and sweet expressions, strength and vulnerability... Great job *thumbs up*
Just one lil detail, Artemis's arm looks a lil too long to me, gives her a weird effect...

I think the key feature in this drawing is Sirius' facial expression. It's has so much character and attitude all in one kick butt package
