This is a watercolor painting I just finished it took 3 days to paint.

It's such a wonderful image I had to paint it. I struggled quite a bit with the detail in the face when I zoomed in on the photo there was little detail so I had to really make a lot of it up and I think it came out pretty well.
The size is 9x7 . The paper I use is Canson XL watercolor paper and I used 5 colors ultramarine deep by Rembrandt, pyroll red, dioxine purple , quin.gold by M.Grahem and hookers green light by blick artists colors. I used a brown and gray watercolor pencil it help with the back wing. Its easy for me to name the colors for a watercolor a colored pencil piece not so much LOL. Its also such a breeze to photograph.
