I'm proud of my acting in this. (: It turned out nice.

By the way, could you please add a credit for me and Kn in the description? Thanks.

Whoops, don't worry Taiya, I'll be adding credits personally when I get my hands on the actual file. In the meantime, I'll get a hold of Jordan.

nice... saw it the other day too
can't wait to see the actual finished product! ^_^ (with animation mouth's etc.)

and still recommending that you boost the frame rate to at least 24 FPS ^_^U

It is finished Xyno...this is what I call, SonicSong style. She doesn't use mouth animations, but she gets thousands of viewers just the same. If it were sprites, I would say yes, mouth animations are required. But for this particular kind of thing, I didn't deem it necessary.

Actually, the "animation" style we use in my "Ask the Sonic Heroes" series is meant to imitate the style SEGA uses in the Sonic games released on handheld systems, such as the Nintendo DS or the Sony PSP.

If you've ever played "Sonic Rush" (DS), "Sonic Rush Adventure" (DS), "Sonic Rivals" (PSP), or even "Sonic Free Riders" (Xbox 360/Kinect), that "cardboard cut-out" style is what Sega is using. That's what I'm imitating, because I don't have the time or the extensive staff it requires to make whole animated episodes. xD

In any case, this is cool! It was great teaming up with Taiya in the voice acting department for this~! I might have suggested at least some movement with Rouge - unless my computer was freezing or something, only Tails had poses to switch between, while Rouge stayed in the same pose the entire time. It might have made the project look more dynamic if she had at least had a two poses - one for speaking, and one for listening. Maybe even a third for winking/laughing or something. Even though the style is very stiff, you must try to move the characters between poses relatively often, or else it won't be as interesting to look at. Despite the simple style, this kind of project can still be very high quality.

Also, do you have a video editing program? Flash has terrible audio export quality, and it would all sound much crisper and prettier if you exported your Flash file to quicktime (instead of a swf), imported it to a video editing program (even Windows Movie Maker would work), and then add the sound track there before exporting to final video.

Though, I don't know if DeviantArt allows actual video footage... maybe you HAVE to do swf files to upload here? n___n;; Forgive me, I'm just tossing ideas out there.

In any case, this was neat! Great work, Mario-Underground, EchidnaPower, RaianOnzika, and Hieifireshadow~!

Well Raian isn't easy to get art from. xD By his own admission, he's a mood artist, which means he draws what he's in the mood to draw. So I have to get lucky. xD Yeah, the sound files were fixed (or messed up) by me, Audacity and I aren't the best of friends. There were a lot of things I could've done to make it better, I guess I got complacent...next time I won't, I promise.

Oh, the sound files were fine, but too quiet. So EP edited them in Audacity to amplify them, but they sounded a bit...hissy xD

Wasn't flash's fault
thanks~!
