Description
I have only now begun using light reflecting surfaces such as white paper on cardboard. Comments appreciated!--

I can't comment such Portraits,
but the contrasts are fine, sharpness is perfect, colour okay.

Why can't you comment such portraits?
How do you think the light works? Good or bad?

Exactly On this one the reflector was just out of the frame to the left. I only have one light source, a 50W halogen desktop lamp, so I have to use reflectors to get light on both sides.

wow I understand, I have never though of using household objects in such a manner to get such an effect. Does it help improve the quality of the final image, in regards to sharpness

Neither had I until I read about handling light when you haven't got a $$$ tungsten or flash spot.
It helps a bit, yes, since the subject absorbs more light. Instead of letting it fall on some part of the background which is off-frame, you can use the light by reflecting it. I've been told that it's also very useful when portraying people in sunlight, if you can get an assistant to hold up a newspaper or anything which reflects the light in a soft way, because the shadows wont be as black.

You're welcome! And thanks, since taking it as an advice must mean that you somehow believe I was able to achieve the wanted effect with the methods I described. (Not hunting for compliments
