So now I feel, it is safe to assume.
THAT BLUE IS LEVEL 1-10 OF ABSOLUTE POWER.
because now even Yume has ascended from blue, just like Kryshu. And she has now gained level 30-60 BRIGHTER-GREY.
Well...Except for her blood, which has remained blue....BUT THAT WON'T LAST FOREVER.
NEXT WILL BE ABSOLUTE POWER LEVEL 60-100 WEN SHE WILL BE COMPLETELY PURPLE AND DARK GREY.
Or maybe just stick with the BRIGHTER-GREY because she is rock'n that color with her dark contrast.
I'm going to be honest, how does one go about wanting to redesign a character? I don't think I've ever really felt a need to before...Mmmhhh.
Also involving her notes, are they permanently on her body or do they wash away eventually?
Why do Vah'kyn avoid drinking blood of living things? Is it to keep some form of decency? Or is it because they truly don't understand themselves and fear that side of them? Why do Yume's eyes change when using power or going through blood thirst? Is it special to her, or all Vah'kyn? If all, why does it happen? Is it their power manifesting as a strain on the body? Or could it even possibly be considered their "true," eyes appearance?
How do runes in this universe/world work? Are there laws that dictate them? Are there things runes can't do? Is there any other property of power? Something like pure magic, or a force in nature that can be manipulated? Or are runes the only ones? Do other entities/races/animals, have powers that aren't defined as magic, rune, or otherwise? And simply naturally come to them?
And finally, most important question out of lore ones I've asked thus far, honestly. WHY DOES YUME LOOK SO BADASS?

I have emerged from the blue phase and now into the idk phase : ^ D
And to be honest it just kinda happens, like for me it happens when i feel like something is missing from the design and/or i don't feel like drawing the design anymore because of the missing detail, and when i start trying to figure it out, it raises more questions about their character and who they are then boom i start completely redesigning or just changing a few things~
1) Her notes are simply dried blood so yeah they wash off!
2) They dont drink blood from living things because as time went on, they started seeing it as something in wrong like, inhuman, and they wanted to evolve as a species so gradually the action of drinking blood from a living create became something gross or simply wrong to do. Plus with the size of their larger teeth unlike animals of today like vampire bites, the puncture wounds are a lot larger and can often lead the animal to get a disease/infection and die (which happened quite often) so the Gods of that world became quite annoyed with the increasing amount of dead animals laying around everywhere half eaten (blood fills them up more than regular flesh) and so Vah'Kyn changed their ways to please the Gods as well as evolve as a species.
3) All Vah'Kyn have eyes like Yumes with the red ring and white center. The reason the red ring extends into the actual eye is because that red ring is actual blood and when they begin to crave it, that's all they want and see, so it extends into the iris. It can be considered their "true" eyes appearance since the eyes became like this more and more as they began to drink less and less blood, so instead of blood-looking veins in their eyes like they use to have, it just sits like a ring around the iris. It also happens when using intense power because using the power at great strengths puts pressure in their body so the blood ring starts seeping into the iris from stress on the body, just like humans cans start shaking when they are mad or clench their fists/jaws, Vah'Kyn's blood ring in their eyes just begins flowing into the iris. And eventually it just goes back into it's original ring formation. Some believe the ring has become veins or some sort of virus and has a mind of it's own, but that's just speculation.
4) Rune magic is not a common power and although it my seem powerful, it can be considered one of the weakest. There are not really any 'laws' for any power, but using your powers to do things like mass murderer can get you in trouble with the Gods. Runes in that world can be used for multiple things, both as physical objects or something that is made of cloud/chemical/air things (very descriptive). Yume can usually use runes as a way to create a shield, summon them while flying so when she flies through them her speed can increase, summoning balls/spears of power that shoot from the rune, or rarely (and the most exhausting) is teleportation which can also be very dangerous since if you don't do it right you could end up only making it half way though before the portal closes and you're left with half of you in one place and the other in another. Rune magic also means you have to study them to understand how to use them, so they have to spend a lot of time reading old books and scrolls about runes which can lead a lot of creatures who do have rune power to completely forget about it and use their lesser, weaker power since they don't want to spend that much time reading and studying. Rune magic (like other powers) can be passed from either alleles from their parents (like recessive/dominant traits) or somehow slip into a child and attach itself to that family tree. Yume got her powers from it being passed down from her parents (Rune magic is a recessive trait so it's hard to obtain), neither having the power but carrying that recessive trait.
aAA thANK YOU SO muCH <333 im glad she does!

Rather than make two comments on two separate uploads, I'll be asking all questions (from the previous Kryshu ref, and this Yume ref) here.
Hope you don't mind the clutter. ^^'
Firstly, the gods. I love when they're mentioned because seriously, gods are awesome.
And one thing that really intrigued me was that. You said they can be found just walking around the world. Do they typically interact with the residents of the world? What exactly makes them gods? Are they all like Anubis, connected to something? Anubis was connected to (essentially) the after life. And as a result, the land became corrupted when he did. Do the others gods connect to parts of the world or more ethereal plains? Can a god be killed? Or even harmed in any way? If so, can mortals kill a god, or only other gods, or possibly, some outside force?
What are the gods like? Are they cruel, or kind? BY the sound of Anubis (before his subjects went insane) he sounded like a pretty fair and kind god.
God's don't need worship to live, but by the sounds of it worshiping does give them more power. Would they ask the residents of the world to worship them due to this? Or are they simply fine with not attaining the additional power?
Why would the gods hate all the dead animals? Do they resent death as a whole? Or just mass killing? As in the power segment, its said that you can get in trouble with them by committing mass murder.
How ever, if they do resent death. Than what about animals? (not so civilized) Can animals get trouble with the gods but killing to much just as the more intelligent creatures?
On the subject of Anubis alone. Is he still insane? Or is he just remorseful now? While he did curse his own land, it was only due to the massive loss of life and violation of his land. And he did feel guilty after the curse consumed the after life. So has he lost his insanity, but is now stuck in a cursed land, with only mindless entities left to rule? Or is he still insane?
With Anubis's land being cursed for nothing to enter, or exit. What happens to those who die? Is there another after life? Or something akin to purgatory?
Are the gods of this world rivals? Do they resent or cooperate with each other? If they do cooperate, then why hasn't Anubis reached out to the other gods for help? Or if can't, why haven't they noticed or not taken action that he needs help?
If they resent each other, then it would be pretty obvious why they haven't helped him. But if they do, then why do they hate each other?
Or do certain gods care more for some gods but less than others?
(not really questions for this next bit, just kind of commenting on this segment)
So basically over time their evolution made it to where when their bodies desire need sustenance their eyes will boil over with blood. Making it to where living things would, essentially, be highlighted as that needed sustenance. Of course though, it sounds like they're trying to turn back on their nature. Which would be sucking blood in probably higher quantities than they are now out of a desire to better as a species and remain on the gods good side. I think that's what it sounds like. Could be wrong. I do find it interesting that their eyes have changed from having the usual veins to instead be reformed as a circle.
So can one do, essentially, anything with runic power so long as they learn it?
And is the learning curb the only reason runic power is weak?
What other kinds of abilities to can amass? As you stated Rune magic is the "weakest," implying there are other types of magic.
If there are, than are they easier to learn than Rune magic? How so?
I would like to add I'm aware of the fact that Kryshu will return to Second Hell, and what is origins with Yume are now, properly. However I will not be asking further questions about these.
I DO, THOUGHT, HAVE MORE QUESTIONS IN GENERAL!!!! XD
But as always, I'd prefer to get what's on my plate off first. And of course, only if you want to hear more questions.

Yes they can be found interacting with common folk, especially the one who guards/looks after the portal that leads to other planets and worlds, he is always at the portal chatting and learning about others. The reason they are labeled "Gods" is for a few reasons. The powers they have as well as he responsibility they have in the world such as a god of time or nature, their powers link directly to what they are responsible for. As well as each of them having a portal that leads to different places (however only the god who has his portal linked to other words has his open, the rest are shut off/closed). Gods can be killed, but it is very hard and has a strong risk of ruining the world because for example if there were a god of nature and you killed it, there wouldn't be anyone to fully control it so it could either rapidly start growing and taking over everything or start dying quickly since the world has a lot of magic, things need to be controlled to maintain it properly. And yes, anyone can kill or harm a god, there have been god vs god battles in the past before, and they are quite brutal. Most gods are nice, some more strict than others, and some are just plain annoyed at others which is why some don't bother showing themselves to the normal folk. And no Gods won't ask others to worship them even if it does give them power, however that power can be considered more "reassurance" rather than an actual increase in their abilities. They hate it because it was just a bunch of dead bodies around their land in the open so it caused others distress and plus a god awful smell of rotting flesh pft. And gods usually consider the more intelligent folk and animals the same, however they take in account how smart some creatures are compared to others. That being said 98% of the creatures are more intelligent than usual animals, the ones that are not are usually used for farms like cattle for example or in the wild.
Yes, Anubis is still insane, but more remorseful now. Those who die, just die now. With the afterlife taken away, and there being no access, you simply die now. No other world you go to like there use to be.
Some Gods to have grudges against each other like normal beings, some are close friends, but they all understand that their responsibility matters more than personal feelings. Regarding Anubis, he has always been a touchy subject for them as the other gods witness exactly what happens if you are not stable, you can ruin a whole world. The other gods can probably be labeled as afraid of Anubis since he is still messed up emotionally. And Anubis did not ask for help because he never wanted any, he believed he could handle everything on his own, but in reality he could not. The Gods also know that bringing Anubis back to the overworld could make him worse because he would see how everything is nicer up there and how his world could of looked like, so he would probably want to ruin this one as well as a way of saying "if i cant have it neither can you".
Yes exactly! Although a good part of the species still prefers their old way of living and usually just ignore the gods and continue on with how they use to be (drinking lots of blood from living animals and such).
Kind of, unlike for example normal hot fire powers which can burn the skin/opponents and such or maybe powers like wind which can make tornadoes and such, except using the runes to fire things (which also takes a good amount of concentration to target the opponent), runes can't rally physically injure an opponent (unless you bash them with a rune shield or something lmao). Rune magic is one of the only powers you actually need to study to be able to use it, the rest come naturally.
Ask as many questions as you would like!

Do you mind if I give a reply to this in notes?
There's something I want to talk about in private involving the powers/magic part.
if you don't mind, that is. ^^
I'll give a proper reply to the rest at a later date, something...Important is happening tomorrow.
