The trees far in the background was just an image because rendering each one would have taken foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrr but the closer ones were modeled by me. ^^
As for the camera movements, I used a real camera... Sorta... I filmed a Doctor Strange figure against my wall as if it was the fairy and translated the camera movements into the 3D scene. It was a weird process D:

It's kind of a mix. The trees near the camera were all modelled in 3D and the far off imagery was edited from an HDR image from Textures.com.
Definitely saved me a ton of time because putting in so many physical trees would taken forever to render.
And I was going to go outside in the real world for footage because it would be WAY faster to render... but my neighbors already think I'm a bit loopy so I thought against it... Chasing imaginary fairies definitely wouldn't help my case ^^"
