Description I don't think I've ever seen fan art for a start screen... so I recreated the start screen for one of theΒ first games I ever played. ^^

I'll also plan on posting Metroid, Mario Bros, and many more if this does well...

I'm really liking this!Β  I made one too a while back.... similar concept..... but I gave emphasis to the sword used on the actual Z2 box art; truth be told, I just think that the Master Sword gets way too much attention.Β  Β  Speaking of which, thanks for not drawing the Master Sword in place of Link's original sword (depicted above).Β

Love the art. The starry cloud in the middle is particularly lovely, though it seems a little sharper than the rest of the scene. The text seems a bit flat over the top of it, though, and even a bit generic in the "Zelda II" and "Link" strings.

Yeah. I probably should have thought it out a bit more. I think my whole push was to try and make it less like a classic video game and more like a 1980's anime.

Very nice work recreating an epic start screen. Love how light just shines on the sword.
If there was any complaints... It'd be that the title is just plain letters lolΒ

I had it playing in my head the whole time drawing this. haha

And the letters were all originally 3D like the original title butΒ I could never make it look alright.
I then tried my best to make it look like it came out of a 1980s anime.
