Meet Kálodes, my very first dragon! 
A little bit about him then;
1. He's extremely friendly. He'll hug you if you don't hold out a knife at him XD
2. He's head over heels in love with Aestas (I'll upload the ref later~)
3. He LOVES swimming and flying. He's really good at swimming, buuuut he could be better at flying :'3 That doesn't stop him though because he's very committed to everything and doesn't know when to quit
4. He's kind of derpy sometimes; imagine a derpy puppy with wings that loves to swim, and you have Kálodes XD He acts more mature around Aestas though :'3
5. He's hardly ever angry, because he doesn't have reasons to be angry
6. He's somewhat in control of his glow; if he needs to stay hidden he can glow less, and if he needs more light he can glow more, HOWEVER he can't glow when he's asleep/tired/not been in the sun for some time. So basically he needs to 'charge up' in the sun every once in a while :'3
It's been long since I last uploaded an OC ref, so here ya goo~ I'm actually feeling okay about this, I mean I don't usually draw dragonsactually at all (/_.) but I was inspired by a picture of a luminescent beach that I saw online, so designing him was super fun, and surprisingly easy! ^^ I think I'll make more of these
ALSO since it's a very dark chara, you may want to zoom in all the way, and possibly even adjust the brightness of your screen XD
Time: It was made in a couple of days, sooo 8 hours?
Used: Paint.Net, GIMP and mouse
Theme:

Ok, I'll be honest with you Sirona. -_-
I want to have a pet dragon like him. Really, a derpy puppy dragon that swim and glow?
And his design is beautiful, it recall the deep sea fish without the ''monster'' part of it.
I also like the idea of the holes in the wings and tail, it gave him a unique shape while keeping the ''dragon shape''. (I really don't know how to express it, sorry). Anyway, great design you got there. I can't wait to see that Aestas.

AND I LOVE IT
I first tough that he was going to be a pretty evil Derg, with a very nasty personality, being like, "Hey I wanna eat your face 
But it seems like he's not! Oh lord I would love to hug him and give him lots of fishes 8D
I can imagine him wagging his tail like a dog and waiting for me to throw the fish, then him jumping to catch it!
By the way, he can eat properly with that mouth he has? I mean, fishes could slip through that gap of his mouth, and if they are still alive, maybe they could run away! ( swim away? xD)

indeed he's the exact opposite of that :'D he kind of looks evul though, if you don't look at the pic with his tongue hanging from his mouth x3 also he'd hug you forever if you fed him fish. you have been warned XD
THAT'S EXACTLY HIM! :''D he's a joyful little (or actually big) dragon xD
you are very observant my friend, congrats ewe for that he has his tongue :3 if he's actively hunting fish he just chases and swallows them whole, but if he's tired or can't move for whatever reason, he lays on the bottom of the lake (or even ocean) and waits, and if fish swim in through that hole, he catches them with his tongue ^^ it's like a mousetrap, in a way :3

Very strong tongue! He must be a very skilled fisher then! With his size I don't think he eats little lake fish!
I bet when he is in the Ocean he eats some tasty tuna, even spade fish!
Do you know his diet? I have a mental idea of him chasing a huge shark (dunno why lol)
