I was feeling really lazy today and didn't want to do anything productive so I filled this meme instead |Dso much colors.
And lol, those first 2 years, AHAHAHAHAHAHA
I kinda didn't want to pick the "best ones" but rather on from the beginning, one from the end and some in-between of the year. And I think I made most improvement in 2008? I mean it still sucks, but when I look at the first and last one there is ahuuuge difference x'D" I just really drew a lot this year because I was emo and had no friends irl, so DA was my home and I had plenty of time for drawing :'D
Kinda made me feel a little bit better about myself...? And hey, it's still about 1.5 month in 2011, so more time to do some impovements~! c':

Mimo przerysowania, w pierwszej fazie i tak umiałaś bardzo ładnie wyrażać emocje na twarzy, a nie jak niektórzy początkujący robią, że rysują na twarzach emotikonki...
WITCH->Xiaolin (omg. mam SZITLOŁD fanartów z tego. Do tego dochodziły bardzo desu szodżo animce) -> weaboo z DUUŻO NARUTO -> próbowanie narysowania własnej mangi i eksperymenty narzędziami -> niestety nie miałam kopików .__. Ale za to chyba wtedy dostałam PKMN Red i zaczęła mi się masa odradzać, pamiętam, że byłam na wakacjach w Kanadzie i rysowałam postacie do Twojego komiksu na konkurs, i mówiłaś, że masz już kopiki wiec możesz mi odpikować osom nagrodę, to było 2 lata temu

Szczerze, ja "styl anime" (...który podobno nie istnieje BD) lubię i nadal kultywuję w moich "dzieuach" ale... Ale chciałabym nauczyć się rysować nieumarłe potwory! (nieśmiałe próby: [link] [link] )

You say you drew anything but anime, but that is a blatant lie! The reason? I'm surprised more people aren't aware of this, but Pokemon is also an anime, and from what I can tell, much of your artwork is Pokemon related. I wish more people would get their facts straight about Pokemon.

The point is: Art style doesn't equal subject matter. They are completly different things.
I could go deeper into it, but I don't really feel like doing so now.

I am sure she meant anime "style". I Know that Anime is not a style - it is a wide format with a lot of styles, but since anime's style has no name besides "Japanese animation style", I and a lot of aritsts would call this style 'anime' for short.
Pokemon has a huge space to experiment with styles - you can draw gijinkas, create your own Pokemon or draw them realistically, comparing them to living creatures like reptiles or mammals, making anatomical sketches of them. And, oboviously, she is not drawing in official Sugimori's style, or Pokemon Anime style. She is experimenting on her own, see? Moreover, she isn't rather drawing anything from the anime. I know this is one franchise, but it's completly different from the game it could be divided and left alone, making a fanbase for games and for the anime. A lot of people like both, but not every Pokemon fan. And OF COURSE she knows Pokemon is anime! We got this Pokemon Hype in Poland like, ten yeas ago too, like the most of the world!
