Description
I held a contest recently andwon it. He gave me several characters and said, "Pick one and surprise me."
From the list I picked Vex'ahlia the Ranger. Vex is, as many probably know, Laura Bailey's D&D character in the famous show, Critical Role! Also present: Trinket the Bear, Vex's faithful animal companion.
PS. Hm, I think Trinket is the 1st bear I've ever painted. I've certainly done many bugbears, but never bears...)
PPS. Here's a small SirTiefling secret for ya. I have a teddybear - over 50 years old! - sitting on the shelf. It gathers dust but I refuse to let go of it. It reminds me, "There are older things around here than you!"

The "cast" of Critical Role call their fans "Critters". Figured if you were drawing Vex and her bear you watched the show too!

Oh of course. Yes, I've watched it. It's a great show.

I like your background style, it's somewhat dreamlike.

Thanks. When I'm painting a background the process is pure chaos. I once drew photorealistic portraits, but never backgrounds. I think that's why the backgrounds look like that. I've no clue what I'm doing. It's Real Art, one might say.

Gives good massages. At least the bear.

Thanks. He's probably a bit too small, but I don't really know how big Trinket is supposed to be.

I don't know either so that's not a problem for me
