I scanned this in for another, and thought Id put it here anyways. its very incomplete.

I never do explicit backgrounds, or show off my great appreciation for forest. I grew up surrounded by the old growth rain forest trees of the north-west.

I really enjoy the colour green. I ran into some very green photos one day, stared at them, and had to do some trees.
This was meant as a quick colour sketch. I was working in a weird sketchbook someone gave me, which has this annoying heavy paper texture. My sketch couldnt get the details I wanted, it was sitting on top of the paper. I went a step further and got out the acrylic to start filling in the texture. And off it went.

The scan here is where it was left at. The left side is ready for its final layer (defining individual groups of branches and tones), the right side isnt quite there yet. I cropped out the rest of the image because it was notably underdeveloped.
This portion is about five inches in width.
