Edit 5: New reference for this lad! He's been needing it so badly aha. I edited his design ever-so slightly, as well as gave him scars from his fight with the Coyotes. I'll be working to update his written bio, too. He's also Alpha of the scouts now! Tied next to Paris and just under Bohemia

Emotional & Sensitive:
He often overreacts and is extremely sensitive to teasing and will become hurt easily, if you're joking around with him then you'll want to choose your words carfully.
He's always worried about upsetting other dogs and will usually think about what he's going to say before he says it, so as to not say anything wrong on accident.
One minute he's happy and the next he's sad. Even a little bit of bad news can send him into a depressed shlop. He's always the first to to shout for joy or cry or yell angrily when hearing a story or bit of news. Mood swings are a usual for him, and you should be ready for it. Can get overwhelmed quickly and doesn't do well under hard pressure.

Love's to laugh:
He loves laughing as long as it's not about him. He laughs at the slightest things and often can't stop for a long while. Unfortunetely, as much as he enjoys laughing, he cannot tell a joke to save the world. Everything he comes up with isn't actually as funny or as clever as he thinks and so he'll usually just sit there, laughing the snot out of his own joke while everyone else glanses awkwardly to the side, waiting for him to be done with his self-ammusement. Heck, even things that would normally be funny when another dog tells it, just isn't funny when he says it.

Friendly & Social:
Calsifer is a friendly dog, overall. Even when around those he dislikes, he'll try and treat them with respect. He loves hanging around other dogs and he doesn't need to be completely enduldged in a group or conversation in order for it to be beneficial, simply being around other dogs is enough for him. He values his friendships highly and is always willing to lend an ear if someone feels the need to talk. He love's meeting new dogs and can be quite a gentlemen sometimes. Calling female's "Miss", "Ma'am" or "m'Lady", or using "Sir" or "Mr." with males, is a typical thing when around new dogs or dogs of higher ranking than he.

Trusting & Open:
Despite being very cautious at first, Calsifer is quick to judge and trust, making him quite gullible at times. Not only that, but he's very open to dogs, even if he just met them. But that's not to say that he trusts everyone; even though he's quick to trust, he's often a good judge of character and will sense if somethings off about a dog.

Polite, Thoughtful & Opinionated:
He spends much of his alone-time thinking of one thing or another. He put's much thought into a descision and will sometime's take a while to reply, as he's thinking hard about what and how he should reply. His thoughtfulness makes him extremely polite; 'pleases' and 'thankyou's sprinkled into every conversation. He never does anything with someone else's things without permission from them first. Heck, he even hates taking food from people or from garbage cans, and if he could, he would even ask people for permission first. His sensitive behavior often clouds his true opinionated mind, because he's usually too afraid of hurting someone's feelings to speak his mind. But oh, opinionated he is. He's got an opion about everyone and everything and can list in extreme details what he likes or dislikes about something/one.

Calm & Observant:
Except for his mood swings, Calsifer is generally a very calm dog. He tend's to calmly obverve and assest a sitiuation before entering into the midst of it. This helps him to make good choices. He's constantly aware of his surroudings as well as the dog's or people in it, and sneaking up on him is a very hard thing to do as he usually know's you're there before you can even begin to say "Boo!"

Uncomfortable around pups and children:
Born with three siblings and the runt of them all, Calsifer grew up to be very uncomfortable around puppies. He was often shoved and pushed around during puppyhood which is the result of this uncomfortableness. Now that he's older, Calsifer has no idea how to interact with children and pups. He feels awkward around them and doesn't know how to answer their many questions and fears he'll do it wrong. When he was a puppy, he would often play with his breeder's children. As he grew, he became a little too rough for the very sensitive children and so he'd be constantly scolded for "hurting" them.
After this had wen't on for several months, he grew ashamed of being near kids and worried that he'd hurt them accidentally.

Pre-Group history:
Calsifer's parents were showdog's and the breeding was arranged rather than by love, although the two were and friendly terms. He's the runt from a litter of four, often pushed around and teased by his older sisters. Growing up he had a somewhat comfortable life as his mother and his mother's people were good to him. He was always taught to be polite with everyone and to respect others' opions by either shutting up about your own or agreeing with theres, so when he was last-picked and and misstreated by his sister's and other dogs and people, he thought not to mind as he had been taught to. Last-picked in everything, he was even the last to receive a home and waited until he was one to finely find one. The home he did get, however, was a good one, with friendly people as well as plenty of food and warmth under their roof. Tragedy struck after he had lived there for almost a year, when they wen't on vacation and - in his rightful veiws - adondoned him. The real reasoning behind this is that the small family had gone to stay with reletives for a supposedly three days. The reletives were alergic to dogs, and so Calcifer was left behind with a "good and trustworthy" house/dog-sitter. Two day's into the family's stay, one of the reletives died and one of Calsifer's people seriously injured. The family fully intended to come back and get Calsifer as soon as they could, but the "good and trustworthy" dog-sitter quickly slacked with their work after the three-day mark, even though he was being paid double for the extra days. The sitter became drunk and for no good reason at all, tied Calsifer up outside and then proceded to just stop coming altogether, loosing contact with the family as he did so. The family was delayed yet again, and, becoming more and more hungry, Calsifer was able to chew his way through the rope that tied him up, and found his way out of the yard in desperate search of food. Not two days later the family were able to come home and found that their dog was missing. They continued to put up posters for months later, but unfortunately they never found him.

After Calsifer left, he quickly grew lost and was unable to find home again, and so proceded to spend the next year just roaming the streets, finding food where he could and in constant search for shelter. The town he lived in was not super dog-friendly or even suitable for the average stray to find their necesities, and so Calasifer wen't off in search of a new town, and eventually found Canidale. Feeling safe enough there, he quickly decided to call it home. Although still a stray, Calsifer dreams of a second chance at a home.

The rope that tied him up still hangs around his neck, although much more worn and dirty than when he first got it. The loop was knotted loosely and so will expand with little pressure, and so he has avoided the embeded-colar problem.
