Description
Okay, this made it about 500% more scary, and also it's the fastest ninja edit I've ever done. I love photoshop! Is this better, guys?
Reference for scary face: [link]
EDIT: Hehe, first time I've ever gotten a "fear" emote
EDIT 2: I've now deleted the original, with the less scary face. Don't want to be flooding or anything. So yeah, for the record: This is a spidren from Tamora Pierce's Tortall books, designed for TCP (Go team Immortals!

Or possibly... not enough! What happens if they make a zipline of web and use the booties to slide down it like silver-clawed Sivvus-bound missiles?

The horror! There must be a way to counter that... A perpetual force field is all I'm thinking of right now. Maybe a life of servitude it not the best option? (Cages, yes, some pets can stay in cages). Always the fear of an uprising might be too much for the nerves!

Nah, I just wouldn't allow them access to any provocative literature. As long as they didn't get hold of a copy of 'Charlotte's Web' I think they'd be okay.

At least they would be able to spell after reading Charlotte's Web! Well, I suppose they would need to learn to read in order to even get that far... Unless there are pictures somewhere...

I know now!
(So does my nanny. I used to have a pet house spider called Fred, who I kept in a mug next to my bed. It was partly because Fred liked drinking cola, and partly because I got tired of my nanny taking cups from my room to wash up before I was done with them. Fred jumped out when startled. It worked well. *evil grin*)

I'm claustrophobic, if you want to devise a fitting revenge based on that.

EEEEEEEEK!!!!
I never really thought about how scary the whole human-head-on-a-spider concept would be, until now. Absolutely terrifying.
Can you imagine any of the characters from the books trying to fight one of those? I'd probably turn and run.

I'd be KILLING IT WITH HAMMERS!
It's quite tempting to stick Justin Beiber's face on it, and see how many people come along with pitchforks...

OMAIGAWD THAT'S TERRIFYING. *is disturbed* Okay, I totally (haha, I didn't even make a pun that time ) get why everyone was so horrified and scared by them now. When I read the books I was mostly just like "dude, it's just a big spider. Okay, so not friendly, but seriously...?"
NOW I GET IT.
