Miles reared up suddenly onto his hind feet, flailing out at the Skitty with his front hooves. "Just leave me alone!"

It was then that Leonie noticed the note that the Tepig carried with him. A brief but closer look at it revealed it as the Rogues Mission that had come from the Mission board back in Tao.

"Hey," she said, dropping her play-anger, "Are you heading to Anana for the Rogues Mission?"

Miles dropped back down onto all fours and gave her an odd look. "Yeah, so?"

Leonie briefly closed her eyes to think, and then she opened them again. "Well, Alomomola is awfully far, and maybe. . ."

Miles seemed to reach the Skitty's conclusion at the same moment she did. He tossed his head, snorting indifferently. "Are you looking for help?" Why don't you go find some Rescuer to help you then?" Under his breath he added, "They're always running around, doing stupid things like that."

Wha-? Leonie was sick of the Tepig's attitude, and she stormed a few steps towards him. "Now YOU look here! We're both heading to Alomomola City, so all I'm saying is that we should go together!"

He snorted again. "No thanks! I'm going alone."

For half a second, Leonie stayed angry at him. Then she sat back on her haunches as a smile crept once more across her face. "Oh, so you're saying you won't be needing any help to defend yourself along the way? You're so capable then?"

"Excuse me?" Miles whirled back towards her, looking about as angry as a pig could muster. "Are you saying I'm not?"

This was too much fun. "As a matter of fact," she told him sweetly, "I am."

He returned to his crouch, almost snarling, though pigs were practically incapable of such an expression, and the result was a lopsided look on his face. "Oh, IT'S ON!"

She laughed. "Bring it, piglet!"
