Something similar in a different program, then fiddled a bunch with the color, contrast, etc. Her hair in real life reminds me of the wild fashions a lot of Japanese kids wear--wild colors and hair, anime stylings, etc., which makes me think of all the glowing neon signs of Tokyo, hence "Neon Pia." Simple but appropriate

Being a human photocopier is over rated. I have seen your art, you could easily do a better job than I did!!! word of advice.... unless you think you can peg it, don't drive yourself crazy with her hair! Yikes!

Don't sell yourself short, trust me. You totally nailed the expression in that drawing--it's better than the photo in that regard, imo. I know what you mean about "human photocopier," though: I really want to do some truly creative stuff, something with more imagination, more "me" in it.

Re: the hair, I think that will be where the power of suggestion will be put to use I did that with the sweater on my Lauren Bacall pic, and it worked well, at least in person, where you can see how the paper texture contributes.

Ha, I am glad to be talking to artists here. I said that today, that i was human photocopier and the person I said it to thought I was talking myself up. They had no Idea it mean I just copy what I see for the most part. Nothing to creative, and I wasn't happy about it necessarily. Idiotic Mortals!! :evil laugh:
seriously the hair was the only thing I was really not happy with in my picture of Pia. Maybe I already said that?? anyhow..... silent and waiting.......
