Inspired by Robert Frost's poem, "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening"

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

But I have promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep,

And miles to go before I sleep.

I was experimenting with glaze. This painting is 18in x 18in - I scanned it in four parts and pieced them together using Photoshop...the pieces don't line up exactly, and you can see the seams if you look closely, so...you'll just have to take my word that this painting is better viewed from a distance and squinting.
