Same day as the last shot. I wish I were in the plane at the top of the pic - what a view they musta had...Didnt feel like resizing the pic; I usually do so the filesize is smaller and quicker to load, but this one's just too pretty. Fullsize is a must

sky came out in a very beautiful way. even plane looks good, top of the picture isn't so empty. Only there is too much noise! What ISO is this?

64 or 100 amazingly : ( did my best to get rid of some of it, but alas, too much would have started to really sacrifice picture quality.

yes, that's always a problem. Noise is bad, but losing details is even worse

technically not lighter, but highly contrasted. darks become darker and lights become lighter

a wee bit. if you know much photoshop, i used the levels tool more than hue/saturation or brightness/contrast.
and honestly, i dont really consider it a talent. i just carry my camera with me and when i see something that i think is beautiful, i take a picture of it. i then take it home and make it a little more beautiful than nature would normally allow, and then wham! its up online

Personally I like it just the way it is. I think the composition is fine because the subject matter here is the sky more than anything else. I like how the clouds seem to be curving towards the sunset. If the horizon was more centered it would not have had the same dramatic effect, this really emphasize the vastness of the sky and the smallness of the plane. Top stuff !

this is good but i feel like there almost might be too much sky...if you know what i mean..like it would be more balanced if there was more of the sand visible...but its a beautiful picture nonetheless
