Wow! I'm truly speechless! That's definitely one of the best (if not THE best) Meg cosplay dress I've ever seen!

Have you posted somewhere a tutorial on how you made this wonderful costume? And how did you arrange your hair?
I only made one cosplay before and even if it was a rather trichy dress I still need some help in crafting new cosplay outfits...

no I don't have a tutorial sorry.
I altered a pleated dress pattern sorry I don't remember the number. Then the belt is just a made up pattern with a craft foam insert to make it hold the shape. Similar to how you would make a pillow but that odd belt shape.
The hair I can help with though. The bangs are my real hair but you could get a short base wig for that. but with my real hair being to thin for the pony tail I put it in a small bun and then bought 2 long curly brown clip extensions at Walgreens for 15$ and clipped them both onto my head around my bun. Then I wrapped gold ribbon around where the clips met my head.

actually my hair is far too thin to cosplay meg so the pony tail is actually 2 clip in ponytails I got at walgreens. maybe the same might work for you since you have shorter hair just tie it up and clip some of those on

It's a beautiful interpretation of the character. Bringing a cartoon into real life is hard to accomplish. You look wonderful. This looks like a painting by one of the great Victorian romantic painters, and would make a great desktop.

I am personally not a big fan of cosplay..some characters are just silly to try and be because they're so unrealistic you'd look silly to try and look like them. That being said, I love this. The pose is perfect, the dress looks wonderful on you, and it's not overdone or plasticy looking. Kudos to you. (:
