Description
I'm not sure if I should put a mature warning on this...After my last painting involving rain, I really wanted to do it more, so I made this.
(and btw, I used the rain from the last picture to do this one... because I'm lazy... I MEAN UH I did it all from scratch, completely. yep.)
But... when I went to color it I started crying.... Sometimes I torture myself with what I draw, lol.
oh dear, life is just not going well for Noah lately...
I'm not sure really what's going on here... I think he just killed someone he cares about in order to save them or something. *cries*
I didn't originally intend for this sort of scene to be in N. Vocatio, but now that I've drawn this I'm kinda thinking about putting it in, possibly at the end.
The hand at the right wasn't actually in my original sketch, but I decided to put it in when I colored it because I realized that without it, it looked a bit like Noah had been like, having an emo moment or something, which is NOT THE CASE. He's just killed someone, that's all.

The emotion in this piece is epic! Someday I want the skills and patience to paint rain like that, too.

Thank you so much!! Yeah it really takes patience, it gets very tedious and frustrating at time, but the important thing is to just persevere and not give up! I made a promise to myself a couple years ago that I would never start a new painting without finishing the one I was currently working on, and so far that has been a huge help to me

Heh, that does sound like it would be a good idea. I can spend hours at a time drawing/painting, but I lack the focus it takes to stick with just one picture to the very end, which means I don't finish much. Maybe someday I'll force myself to be organized...

Yeah it is really hard, a good way to remedy impatience is to find a quicker way of doing things.
