Oh, Thank you! I guess a general rule is if I have the pattern for the doll's body I kind of use the same stitch count, but with a bigger hook. (Body is made with a 2.10mm hook and I make the clothes with a 3.25mm hook) So if I know the body is, say 24 sts around, I'll make a shirt that is also 24 sts around but with the bigger hook. But other than that I just do whatever sounds right.  Sorry I couldn't explain better, and thanks so much!!
