Stinger (part 2)
It had just turned afternoon, Sir Scott and I, riding the ant like creature to where I did not know.

I looked up and saw in the a metallic door surely out of place from the forest scenery. We arrived at the metallic door and dismounted the ant creature.

We entered through the metallic door and made our way down a long flight of stairs spiraling down deep into the earth.

We arrived to a room full of charts, maps, and documents. I walked over to a table with parchments on top. I picked one up and looked at it to feed my curiosity.

It was plans for some sort of cannon using magic from an unearthly blue blade capable of vaporizing anything or anyone unfortunate enough to have been hit by it.

As I continued to read the parchment, Sir Scott called me over to have a look at something.

I walked over to Sir Scott and he handed me a small stack of parchments. He bid me to look through them.

I started to read the first page titled “the golem project”. I kept on reading the parchments until I hit the what believe to be the most shocking clue to the project.

According to the document, Hydras was secretly building an artificial warrior comprised of metal, organic material, and magic. I looked at Sir Scott fearing that I must be experiencing a nightmare. However, Sir Scott informs me that I was not dreaming and that Hydras is indeed attempting to build a warrior capable of untold power and destruction.

I questioned him how Hydras was able to pull off such a feat. “They have the aid of a witch” said a feminine voice. I looked all around me but could not find who spoke.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a warrior of feminine build clad in black and sunshine yellow armor appeared before me.

She introduced herself as one Hope V. Dynus, she then told me the story behind how they came to acquire the powers of a witch.

Hydras had tracked down a woman widely known for her skills in witchcraft and cloaked in scarlet attire.

They managed to capture and imprisoned her, forcing the witch to use her magic for their schemes.

Sir Scott informed me the golem project is scheduled to be completed in three days and that time is of the essence. He and Lady Hope a plan that would not only prevent the awaken but could also lead to Hydras’ destruction.

The only problem they face, is that they lack the abilities and the manpower. That is why it was urgent to speak with me for they knew that our guild had both the abilities and the resources needed to pull such a plan.

I stood there processing over everything that I had just learned. I informed them that I will need to speak with my superiors about the matter. Sir Scott then handed me a map with written coordinates near a western village.

He said if my guild is indeed dedicated to riding the world of hydras’ influence, to meet both him and Lady Hope at these coordinates.

Lady Hope then escorted me back to the surface. Once we arrived at the metallic door and opened it, the sun’s radiant light bursted forth and blinded me for a few seconds.

When my eyesight returned to normalcy, Lady Hope lets out a whistle. And much like with Sir Scott, a giant insect creature came forth but instead of an ant, it was a wasp.

Lady Hope told me that the giant wasp, named sunny, will take me back to my guild. We said our farewells and the wasp took flight with me aboard.

As I made my way back, I have been thinking about all that has transpired: gathering capable warriors for my guild, the losses I have endured, and the potential danger that Hydras is capable of.

It felt like this quest was approaching the climax. It was an hour or so later that I arrived back at my guild. I dismounted the giant wasp and it flew back to Lady Hope.

I entered my guild hall and to my surprise, everyone was sitting at the guild table and greeted me like I was a hero back from a heroic battle.

They inquired as to where I have been, and so I told them everything: about Sir Scott and Lady Hope, The parchments on Hydras they had, and about the Golem Project.

After I had relied all the information I learned, Sir Nickoli asked me to meet him in the planning room to form a plan of attack and to help lead the assault.

I followed him up the stairs. “Finally” I thought to myself, “this war against Hydras is coming to an end”.

I want to thank all of my followers for their support and for newcomers who like the posts. We are approaching the end of the Hydras war saga and their will be a few surprises in store of future posts. Hope everyone is doing well and hope you are enjoying the spring weather.
