I probably never going to succeed drawing a decent portrait of these two but I will at least try.
I’m rereading "The Tawny Man"-trilogy by Robin Hobb at the moment so I thought it would be fun drawing FitzChivarly (Fitz) and the The Fool in disguise as Tom Badgerlock and Lord Golden. Fitz and The Fool are some of my favourite fantasy characters but they are so hard to draw!

Fitz looks so young! I think that he is supposed to be something like thirty years old in the Tawny Man trilogy.
A bit too young but... Geez, he looks cute XD And I really like the clothes of both of them

Wow! I love the poses (that's one thing I can never get right, they always appear too static when I try!) and I especially love how you've drawn the Fool; you've really nailed the androgynous look!
Have you ever thought of putting this in one of the fan-groups that's here on dA? Like [link] ? Apologies if your work is in their favourites, already; I haven't trawled through all of the art in the favourites section yet 
... Although having said that, most of them have probably seen and favourited this already

This is just a tip for you. It’s often not very appreciated to promote yourself in a picture’s comment, especially without even mentioning anything about the picture you’re commenting on. I think most artists would agree with me when I say I only want to see critique for the actual picture in the comments. I would advise you to use forums instead or at least take the time to comment on the picture before shouting out “hey come to my gallery!” That might make people feel more inclined to visit you as well. Just a little friendly advice, have a nice day!

Well, thank you very much, for the advice, but I thought faving someone's work would count as much as comment, 
Oh, well, here I go doing something wrong again. I have an obnoxious habit of doing idiotc stuff like that, and I can't seem to shake it.
*Sigh* Sadly, I've been on DA for a long time and I don't think I've even ever heard of the forums . . . I don't know why.

Actually, you didn’t fav my work... But anyway, in my opinion, favs is something I do for myself not the artist, while comments on the other hand is something I do only for the artist’s sake. But I’m getting off topic here.
I don’t know how much there’s left of DA’s forums, maybe they have taken them down. I mostly meant forums in general. But you do what you like. I just wanted to point out that quite a lot of people disapprove of comments that don’t say anything about the picture itself.

True, it's one of the best pictures I've seen of Fitz and the Fool. They simply look real, and I love their expressions and clothes and the fact that they're both so young and tall and handsome

Mmm, they both look so tall and sexy. Fitz *does* look a bit young for the Tawny Man time line, though . . . I'd more imagine him looking like that during the course of assassin's, when he was still young and pretty.
