This is sad, but true: The alignment of the torso and legs just makes it impossible to believe that the character is actually moving downward. From the neck down, I'd actually guess that they were being expelled forward. It's primarily due to the placement of the legs and torso, unless I'm seriously mistaken.
Not critisizing the work in general--BEAUTIFUL. It's just got a posing mistake or two.
