Personality: Brave, loving, determined, selfless and cocky
History: Born as the son of an oceanographer and his wife, two normal humans, it is unexplaned how David Squall AKA Splashdown got his powers. Anyway, at a young age, David found that he was capable of flight, high speed underwater travel and other water based powers such as the ability to talk to marine life. During high school, he met Kate Mason AKA Apogee. The two were considered geeks at school as they would rather study than play sports - in fact, poor David was bullied mercilessly because of his differing interests, and was considered an outcast. Nevertheless, he did manage to make several friends, including the then teenage student Super, Dean Cartman, who would become his love rival Phylange later on.

During a school trip to the volcanic island of Mount Tiki Toki, the volcano erupted, and David and kate, using both of their powers managed to stop it. On that day, kate realised who she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. Years later they became supers, got married and had a daughter called Sarah aka Stratogale.

Soon enough, Phylange, armed with voice based powers, set his sights on Apogee. Apogee knew she was already married, but her courtesy kept her from refusing Phylange's dating offers. When Splashdown found out, "Splashdown Vs. Phylange" became the most publicized super court case of all time. The case was eventually won by Splashdown, but Apogee became upset by her husband's criticisms of her mannerly nature, and soon divorced him. However, even long after this catastrophe, David never forgot his old friends. Phylange's school went on their annual party cruise soon afterContro the court case, but ran into Hurricane David as it was raging over the Atlantic that year, but as a gesture of apology, Splashdown managed to steer the cruise ship his high school enemies were on out of the way, before being sucked into the eye of the storm by his cape and killed - a noble if unfortunate sacrifice for the people he used to hate.

15 years later, he was freed by his revived daughter from Aperture's labs. Along with his daughter, wife, sworn brother, and his friends the Parrs, he now fights against Aperture's plans, and is determined to put an end to them.

A series of characters expanded upon by me and ~georgemiser , pertaining to our RP-based Incredibles fanfic, "Rise of the Galeforces."

All I have to say is that I had a lot of fun with Splashdown's outfit. The similarities between his Supersuit and Stratogale's are obvious here; I figured that since he is the head of the family he would the same Galeforces colors as his daughter.
