One thing you could improve on: his eyes are too low, or his forehead is too tall, so you can either lower his bangs or draw his eyes higher up. I'd probably choose to lower the bangs, though. Otherwise, it's very well done

Nice mermaid skin effect! I wanted to try doing that once with one of my drawings but I dont know how to. lol
