10-Feferi Peixes (Homestuck)

Starting off the list we have that smiling girl that's my avatar of Deviantart: Feferi Peixes. She might not be one of the most hated Homestuck characters, but I've seen some people who doesn't really like her. One of the reasons is her personality, being happy and caring, even if she has the highest blood of the Trolls. For those who don't know, the higher in the color spectrum is a troll's blood color, the more evil he/she is with the exception of Feferi. Some even say that she's a Mary Sue for that. Yes, she breaks a stablished law made by the comic itself, but I still enjoy her personality and how she gets -EXCITED by everything. Not to mention that her role in the comic is very reduced. Oh, and she represents Pisces, my Star Sign, which is probably another reason of why I like her.

9-Leslie Winkle (The Big Bang Theory)

How long we have been in the show without her? Like 3 seasons? Yeah, apparently the writers didn't really like Leslie and just scrapped her with no reason or backstory of why. She was one of the funniest secondary characters from TBBT, and her roles are very interesting. Sure, when the plot tries to put her and Leonard as a couple it doesn't go anywhere, but I love her rivalry with Sheldon. Believe me when I say that she's a better rival than Kripke and even Wheaton. If you have seen the episode when they participate on a quiz, you'll know why. I wouldn't want her to have a big mayor role, but at least use this character in more episodes!

8-Waluigi (Super Mario Bros)

WAA! Yes, this character usually tops lists of “Most hated Mario Characters” because he's apparently just a character made to be Wario's sidekick and Luigi's Rival. That's true, according to the creators, but that doesn't make him a bad character. Kind of like Feferi and Leslie, he doesn't have a mayor role, but I always like to see him in the games. I like his personality, and in Mario Power Tennis, he and Wario starred in many cutscenes and they were actually pretty funny. At least Brawl in the Family and his removal in Mario Kart 7 are helping him to earn fans.

7-Charade (Soul Calibur)

There's a big reason to hate this character: He's the Random Button. He's just a character that's a clone of everyone, and he doesn't have a real moveset. Well, I don't think he's that bad. In fact, there's a difference between him and the Random Button that makes him enjoyable to play as: In each round, he changes his moveset. Each time you play, you don't know who are you going to use, and for me, that's actually a great idea. Not to mention that his backstory is pretty interesting as well.

6-Rigby (Regular Show)

Fans say that Rigby is an annoying douchebag who does whatever he wants and never gets punished for it. Sorry, but you're describing Muscle Man. For me, Rigby is like that brother/cousin/friend that you sometimes have fights with, but you end up still being friends. Or at least, when we see his relation with Mordecai. He's not really that annoying either, or at least for me. He complains about stuff that he has reasons to complain, like in “Trash Boat”, when he hates how everybody treats him badly because he changed his name and how Benson treats him as a Newbie. He's not that bad for me.

5-Lemongrab (Adventure Time)

Many people find this character UNACCEPTABLE, but I actually find him very funny and enjoyable. The reason of why people hate him is because he's always screaming and treating everyone bad, sending them to the dungeon and even eating his own brother. The thing is that he's crazy, and in a very realistic way. In fact, he reminds me a lot of Octocat in his personality. Most of the episodes with him are very serious, and while many people hate them, I enjoy them because of that.

4-Xion (Kingdom Hearts)

People who hate Xion haven't played her game. They just saw a picture of her, read the first line of her KH wiki article and started to hate her. Why? Because she's a Mary Sue, just because she's a member of the Org. XIII and because she has too much role in a game that was suppposed to be about Roxas. You definitely haven't played the game. Like Cartoon Hero said, Xion is actually an Anti-Mary Sue. Mary Sues are characters without flaws and Xion is ALL flaws. She's just a puppet that the leaders of the organization want to get rid of. If you have actually played the game, you'll see how Xion is a very likable character and you feel bad for her because of everything she has to face to.

3-Modern Simpsons

Oh boy, I'm going to recieve so much hate for this. I don't think that the Simpsons is becoming so bad. Sure, the original seasons have the best episodes, but there's no doubt that some of the modern episodes are good, like The Seemingly Never Ending Story, How I Wet Your Mother or I (annoyed grunt)-Bot. The characters haven't suffered so much in my opinion. In some episodes they might be out of character, but in others they're still the ones we know and love. I have seen some bad episodes from the modern era, but they're really not that bad. And better than Miracle on Evergreen Terrace.

2-Jar Jar Binks (Star Wars Prequels)

I like the Star Wars prequels. All of them. And even if you don't like them, you definitely can't say that they're the worst thing ever. If you do it, fine. I want you to watch Hercules in New York or Master of Disguise to see if you opinion still doesn't change. Jar Jar is the most hated character of any film of any franchise because he's incredibly annoying and he makes use of Toilet humor. And maybe... but people treat him like if he was taking the main protagonist role. He doesn't appear as much as everyone say. He appears during the first half, and almost disappears in the second half. And some of the scenes with him are actually funny, like during the battle with the droids. He's not perfect, and I definitely don't find him as great as I did as a kid, but he's at least better than “A character that killed the cinematic intrustry forever”.

1-Duck Hunt Dog (Duck Hunt)

And speaking of characters considered the worst of all time, here we have the Duck Hunt Dog. You know, there are videogame characters that are horrible. Like Ruto from Ocarina of Time, who “thanks” you for saving her by oblying to carry her all over the dungeon. Or Mr Resetti from Animal Crossing, who forces you to hear his rage because you turned off the console without saving. Or Chelinka from Final Fantasy, who's basically having Ruto during the entire freaking game. And what does the Duck Hunt Dog? Laughing when you fail. That's it? Really? So many ragequits and appearences in Worst Characters lists because of that? He may laugh, but he also helps you to get the ducks, so you shouldn't complain. And then we have those who want to shoot him or even make a gore version of the game where you shoot the dog. And then they complain about Ren Seeks Help or Pet Sitter Pat (I'm not saying that I like them). Or even people who say that they wanted the Duck Hunt Dog to be in Smash Bros to punch him in the face. You're definitely overreacting for something like that.
