-ears not too pointy
-body is more thick and furry like a malamute
-legs more like a wolf/husky (not too stubby or as heavy-boned as it appears on some malamutes)

This is the last time, I promise!
You know the design is here to stay for a long time when I bother to make a ref sheet.
I think he'll be Skara's mate. XD
I wanted to give Alacar proper malamute markings <3
This took way too long to make, doing 3 drawings to complete this, but it had to be done. x_x The sitting pose gave me so much trouble, I redid the outlines over and over.
Let me know if there's any typos or anything. I try to make my refs as thorough as possible, which is why they take me forever.

I really think this is so beautiful! I love the way you draw. Do you have a blank ref sheet avaliable, But without like all your info and such, cuz I'd like to use one of these sheets for my OC.

Thanks so much! Unfortunately I do not have a blank copy, I just make the layouts for each ref as I need them. I try to make them unique yet consistent with each other. Thanks for your interest ^^

well I put as much detail and consistency as I can. But I feel like many don't bother to read whats on it, because many art trades or giftart I receive have markings missing

yea he was actually the first character I ever made back when I started digital art in 7th grade lol. I drew a harness and a tiny red scarf on him, and gradually over time his design has grown more realistic ^^ I'm happy with the new results

I like the natural colors and markings, they're lovely. And the story is good since it explains his 'accessorize'. I've seen a lot of people just giving their characters random necklaces to make them look cool and they just have no idea how they got them xD

oh I forgot I wanted to ask about this, does Alacar's main body color look too brownish at all? Its supposed to be like a dull, natural black. Some colors are a lot more contrasted on other screens and I don't realize that they're way off.

Hmmm. Well, now when you mention it, it's actually a bit brownish on my screen. Maybe you should change it? Im not sure, since you cant really see it on your screen i guess? Of course, if you want to be completely sure you can always remove the brown-touch completely.
