I agree with the previous poster, that is a very cool/clever ensignia. And the more simplistic design screams instant icon

Yup.Β I always loved the giants in comics, and while I took liberally from James Barnes' Captain America uniform, the logo seemed a simple, but elegant design.

Great job coloring. Great logo design for Man Mountain being shaped like a mountain. I always wonder if giant heroes wore body armor or had force fields, because their size makes them easy targets.

Daryl (his real first name) has designed his uniform around armor. Β His large size does provide a lessening of impact damage, it's energies and high velocity/low diameter projectiles which can breach his toughness. Β Smacked by a bus doing 50? Β No problem - large impact over large impact area. Hit by something moving nearly three times the speed of sound and a half of an inch across (.50 BMG) he'd be as "vulnerable" as your average elephant to "conventional bullets."

Fascinating. That's how all giant heroes should be presented. I was always worried about Marvel's Giant Man. Very good.

He supposedly was presented like that, but I guess a 12 foot tall Batman was too much to write about. :/ Β I'm returning to that.

I'm not usually good at all with logos, but this came out pretty nice!

I agree with above. Or below, I'm not sure how these comments will line up. I agree with Simple, yet effective.

I have a soft spot for the old Giant Man/Goliath, so I wanted to do something with him.Β The inspiration came, in large part, from Bucky Cap.Β I'd bought a second one and repainted him with the red.Β For the color version, I used deep blue for the black.Β And the belt, sans the gun and knife holster.Β Though, I am wondering if I shouldn't have kept those.
One of the things I loved about Hank's 12 foot giant, he worked hard on agility and holding his breath, while currentΒ iterations seem to forget that.Β Even in the roleplaying books, he's of "standard physical fitness" despite the acrobatics and combat training he did to be able to take care of the Human Top/Whirlwind.

The gun and knife holsters would be cool but would they increase and decrease in size with him?

That would sort of be the decision - as in, is he like when Hank as stuck at his 10 foot size?Β Permanently double sized.Β Then he just needs a customized gun for ranged attacks and the knife to tear through materials harder than his giant-sized fists.
