If you're anything like me and are absolutely ANAL about RE lore then you probably also get annoyed when people call the Ganado and Majini 'zombies'.JUST NO.

I think people call them zombies, cause of the fact that when they die they come back to life, and thats zombie... now I don't thing there zombies in the games, but the movies get me to wonder, cause they say that the people died then came back to life.... so I'm really not sure O.o

I lent RE4 to my boyfriend (I have all of them, but all he has is the wii :/) and he's like OH MAN THEM ZOMBIES ARE FAST.
and I had to explain they weren't zombies. lol. Nice stamp.

God, I feel like punching someone when they call a Ganado or something zombies. lol It's obvious they aren't. They say phrases, carry around tools, aren't dead, and run around. Zombies don't do any of that.

Whether people like it or not, they are zombies, they aren't George Romero's style zombies, but hey even his zombies ARENT REAL zombies, just the popular ones.
People who think they aren't zombies don't fully know what the term means and just think of the 'undead' definition which is totally irrelevant, you can be brain dead, in a wooden like state and still be a zombie, being dead is not required
Lack of human emotion = A zombie
and they will still be put in a Zombie category we cant just make up these categories when they aren't needed, why would we go to a video store and ask '

Yes, I agree that they are zombies in the sense that don't appear to have emotions, but that really isn't what this stamp is about. I never suggested we make up a category for them- why would I? Technically, zombies and infected are the same thing, yes, but only because they are infected. Ganado (which is what this stamp is about, I'd like to say again) are infected with the Las Plagas parasite? Ok? And zombies in the Resident Evil fandom are infected with the T-Virus. S

This is awesome, I always get a little funny when someone says they're zombies. I have to repress the urge to correct them though, unless I wanted to make them go to sleep

Thank you, and I believe I may be one of the few people that prefer the parasitically controlled hosts over the zombies, but I'm a parasite nut, so what can I say? I've had to correct so many people and tell them, "No! For the last time, there were no zombies in Resident Evil 4/5!"

here here!!! I hate that, my father calls the Ganado 'zombies'... and I am like "No... no they are Ganado!" and he is like "what the hell is that?" amd I am like "Them! They are Ganado!" as I point at the ganado chasing Leon... he then says "They're zombies" and it starts all over again... XD

Heh, nice and shiny. No, they're not zombies, but that won't stop people from calling them that. Even though it says very clearly, on one of the earliest 'check' prompts that you get in RE4, "He's not a zombie..."
(But thank god for those check prompts, I'm playing some earlier games now and getting so sick of just walking around pressing A absolutely everywhere... Though I can definitively say, that the enemies are zombies...)
