Description
New profile: =ElucidatorAfter reading Color and Light by James Gurney (I highly recommend it), as well as going through my devwatch list, I felt a little more armed to step it up a notch. This (surprisingly) took about four hours, I think.
It's an exercise in cloudshadows, better atmospheric perspective (finally nailing it!!), and brushwork.

ooh, James stopped by our university last semester and did a whole presentation on color and light. I got to talk to him before he started being as I was one of the first ones there, it was really enlightening. He and his wife are really great

It was! He's a really nice guy. I'm a huge fan of his work (and I'm really into landscapes, conceptual art, and imaginative realism) so his presentation was really insightful

Ohhh this looks really great Corbin! I like how the background is less clear, you can tell it's far in the distance. Really good job!
