It's getting so boring, trying to name all of these. Whatever. I meant to start on architecture and that sort of thing (I'm feeling like my landscapes and sceneries are finally up to par, so I'm moving on), but I was lacking inspiration.Fun fact: I've been awake for about 53-56 hours.

Yup, I took two melatonin tablets last night, it helped.
Well, all I have to say is this: custom brushes, layer modes, and keeping your mind a step ahead of your hands will always keep your work moving along faster.

Just keep testing brushes and refining your selections. And make your own whenever you need 'em! The brushes I use most are self-made.

The painting is nice. good atmosphere and light. I feel like the shadows tell me the light is behind the midground hilll, so maybe some good dynamic shadows on the water?

I've been trying to focus a lot on atmosphere, so I'm glad that's working out. I also consciously shadowed the water to give it realistic lighting, so hurah! Thanks!
Does the forest running up the near hill/mountain look weird to you?

Not of itself, no. It does seem strange that it stops short of the edge, though. I'd expect it to more or less continue all the way around at the same height.
