Phew, it is finally finished and i am so excited about it! It took me over 100 hours, probably, and at the end i realized i could do it for next 6 months and not finish it, ideas just popped in all the time.But, here it is, i hope you guys/girls will like it!
I will upload some details that cannot be seen here, original image is 4000x7082, 200dpi and lots of details included

I...don't know what to think.... It kind of blows my mind. Like I'm scared to know what goes on in your head its kind of...weird but I do like the effects. Your rendering is pretty cool though and I do find it cool...just weird...

hehehe, when you look at it that way, yeah. But! I am pretty versatile with wierd looking creatures, since i made "Antharra World" which is galaxy that i made up, released a book in 2002, and hoping i could put that world into games, or TV. That is a dream, anyway

well, book dont have online edition, and my english sucked at the time, so it needs to be re-written. but, on my portfolio site, you can check the part of antharra, with creatures and stories

Space i painted, sure, with the help pf some space-making tutorial, which includes some photoshop effects to give it depth.
Concept is mine, originally was meant for the Scavenger comic, but it grew way beyond the original idea
it is, i think, one of my most detailed work ( which, unfortunately, was a bit of mistake, i should learn more about anatomy/values/composition than learn about details ) and i really didn't meant to make it so detailed...i just...couldn't stop, lol
When i finished it, i was...hell, there is 40% of the pic that is not have much details...but i didn't want to continue anymore, because, i know myself, i would work on it next year or so and fill it completely with them

As for the content - I asked because I was thinking it has something to do with Lovercraft works (probably I'm not the first one telling you that 
When you I read about your relation to details I immediately thought of myself - I too pay way to much attention to them and as the result some other areas suffer

Incredible! Salvador Dali would be proud on you! Such a concept - it is a mix between Dali, H.R. Giger and (in my personal opinion) creatures from Mass Effect 2 (mostly because of eyes).
