i've been spending the past few months drawing my ocs as chibis-- or cheebs as i call them!only recently have i been drawing them more and more though, two to three every day, to help with my anxiety and depression
my goal is to make a cheeb for every single one of my ocs to have as their toyhouse icons!

if i started taking commissions for these, how much would you pay for one? they take about 4-5 hours to make each one, and i'd only be able to accept payment in points until i get a paypal when i turn 18 this november

Honestly, its such a good idea to do a matching set of art for each character; I have a friend that makes pixel headshot icons for each of her characters and its so nice to see them all lined up!!

aaaa im so glad you like them! the were-lumi took ages to draw because it was so hard to fit both forms on a tiny 1000 square pixel canvas
and i gotta admit, it is EXTREMELY pleasing to look at my ocs and see them all in uniform with their cheebs as each of their icons

This is why I get icons of my babes and stick them on my page so I can stare at the growing army xD
But yeah, I think I should do some sort of artwork that's my own for each of my characters *w* Dunno what it'll be, but will definitely put the thought away for the future!

i'd definitely recommend it! i've gotten to make cheebs of characters i haven't drawn since i got them, and it's been really fun taking trips down memory lane and experimenting with poses and styles
a lot of my friends who use toyhouse like to make headshot drawings, but an artist i've looked up to since i've joined deviantart used chibi drawings for each character, which i thought was interesting and unique (albeit a LOT more work XD)

I should start while I only have... lets see... around 13 non-NPC characters and its growing fast so yeah xD Hopefully I can do something like that soon! Its been pretty busy with me lately xD
I definitely think the effort is worth it! Its valuable as practice if nothing else!

yeahhh i don't recommend waiting until you have 30+ characters like i do to start XD
on the plus side, it's really helping me battle the art block i've been struggling with for months
