This Is Gius's wife. During a time when he was stationed in Egypt, Gius noticed a woman that put the Goddess Venus to Shame. Ophia, was a Noblemans' Daughter Known to have scared away suitors with a flick of her Wrist. Gius took this as a challenge and approached her fathers home. He showed himself determined to have her. Ophia was intrigued She introduced herself to the Roman soldier... and gave him a challenge. She proposed a horse race trough the desert,From Alexandria to Carthage. If she won, he would leave Alexandria, and never return, but if Gius won She would marry him. He accepted the Challenge with out a second thought.

2 day later the course was laid out. Ophia and Gius dressed in racing outfits, and mounted on strong steeds. And as soon a the flag dropped They where off. The race was long and arduous. The heat of the desert sun hammer down upon them with great intensity. other trial awaited them, like snakes, heat exhaustion, low water, and worst of all Sand Storm! A great sand storm came upon and almost claimed there lives. they were both knocked off their horses, and Scatted to the sands!

3 days later without any water Ophia met up with Guis, on his horse with a skin full of water. Gius offered to take them both the rest of the way to Carthage together. Ophia had her pride and began to walk... And Gius followed close behind. during the day they rode, and at night they talked. 4 days later the referee in Carthage caught sight of them... They were both on the same horse. Else where in Alexandria Ophia's father, and Gius's Commander were passing like crazy, worried out of their minds about what was going on. A Moment a servant came in with a letter, from Ophia from Carthage... Telling her father sorry she didn't invite him to the wedding.
