Hi there everybody! ^^After my street being out of power for nearly 5 whole days (curse the electric company!!) I´m back with a new upload: the second page of Loyalty!*dat unusually serious skeksis comic from me, lol XD *
Here it is, enhanced and with new texts to befit the new concept for the story all better!
**Things get thick and escalade quickly into a corner-up when skekUng heeds his ally´s call, and both face skekLa for supposely spying on them as an agent for the schemy Chamberlain. The skeksis law implies that serious physical aggression between courtiers is strictly forbidden: how far will the Slave-Master and General go into making the Illustrator confess? And how could the limping, old Illustrator scurry away unharmed from this situation?
You´ll find out pretty soon!
(If you like it enough as to follow it up, stay alert: there will be new pages coming up every week and half/two weeks roughly, depending on how long it takes me to finish up each new page ^^ )
I really hope you´ll like this small skeksis slice-of-life!

XD Absolutely! Ironically enough, that law seems to be set in stone (at least in the Alternate Universe I have been writing about) but most of the skeksis tend to seek their own ways to dodge it out if they can get away with it (in this case, the Emperor´s not particularly fond of the Illustrator given how she´s not strong, or particularly outspoken- and he´s nowhere around to see what they´re doing--so, if they can get away with shoving her around they will, and then they will just state she fell on her own account if ever asked about it XD

suddenly, large hands of rock burst out of the walls, and shove the general and slave master away. From SkekLa
”THAT IS ENOUGH!!” A voice hissed as crimson mist poured up from the flower.
ady Despair appeared, wearing a blood red dress with a sparkling, silver shawl, hand on hip and other hand clutching her scepter.
”What have I told you two about tormenting your sister!?” Lady Despair hissed. “We’ve got more important things to confer ourselves then youth letty quarreling. Ung, I saw you trip your sister, since you saw fit to make her fall. You can CRAWL on your hands and knees back to your chambers!”
she ordered, pointing her silver talon finger down the hall. “And YOU! NA, if you deem your voice fit only for sneering tones and ‘syochpant Spiels’ then I hereby forbid you to speak for seven years!”

These two believe skekLa has been spying on them, basically...and they´re after having her admit it-and likely demanding to know how much did she hear, given the kind of plots they may be hatching

Thank you so much! I´m glad you kike it, that shine was necessary XD She´s probably blazing on the inside, she just wants to get out yet the two biggest skeksis in the court are blocking her way and seem angry at her...that shine had to be there!

This is definitely darker than your usual stuff SkekLa, loving it though, showing the Skeks at their darkest, even La, but I am betting she'll fight back anyway, even if it is with words, because they always say that even the most timid creature will fight back if cornered.
