Hi there everybody!
I'm here with my last illustration for the Skektember challenge!
The final prompt was "Control", and it got randomly assigned to skekSa in my selection.
I might have overworked this one a little, given how it was the last one (and I'm gonna miss this thing, I thought it was a quite fun ride!)^^
Hopefully everything in this little scene is well discernible in spite of the ammount of elements crowding the drawing!

Here you have my take on the Mariner: a rather tall, proud and imposing (and yet extremely composed) Skeksis, keeping serene control over her crowd of dilligent Sifan Gelfling.
Even though the whole concept of the Captain sailing within the body of a titanic, living sea-behemoth is really cool, I could never help imagining her aboard an actual ship.(I've doddled some sketches of something resembling the hybrid between a Drakkar and a galleon, complete with some carved Skeksis sigils over its surface and bearing a wooden figurehead carved into the resemblance of a stylised Skeksis head)
The deck you see here would correspond to that bizarre Skeksis ship, which I hope to draw more clearly, probably on a side-view, some day.

Well, this has been nice! I'm hoping that everyone who joined this game had a good time drawing these awesome old Skeksis, and can't wait to see the entries of all those who will start it up later and might catch up soon! ^^
I'll be keeping an eye out for any incoming submissions, and preparing a small group- surprise for everyone who participated (to be posted when September (and Skektember) ends!^^)

This drawing was done with fineliners, waterbased markers, aquarelles, a black pencil and a white gel pen.I hope y'all like it!

I'll soon be back with more comic pages, commissions, sculpts and illustrations.
