Usually Lara paid no mind to wearing her wetsuits with no shoes. She found a peculiar joy in the sweet vulnerability that washed over her each time she plunged from the deck of her yacht into the azure depths, knowing well from that moment on she would have no choice but to get around barefoot until she got back on her yacht. The sensation of rough surfaces under her feet was an experience she secretly relished. The coarse sand, the jagged pebbles, the slippery seaweed – each offered a unique sensation that invigorated her senses and made her heart sink pleasantly. However, the old rusty ship quickly proved to be too much for her to handle as its jagged edges and scattered debris bit cruelly into her defenseless feet. Not only she had to fight the bad guys, but the terrain underneath as well, and Lara was already losing that fight.
