I loved Nightmare Moon in the finale....Especially her facial expressions and Rainbow Dash being one of her guards...

SPOILER ALERT!
Nightmare Moon is certainly the most frightening villain however I think Starlight was a better villain seeing as she at first out smarted twilight then it had to come down to an epic magic battle with her which twilight didn't even win. I mean, nightmare didn't even recognize 'wait, why is there another alicorn?' and let herself be lead somewhere without putting some kind of magic block on twilight like we saw in Equestria Games. Then again unlike Princess Luna who learned to think things through, Nightmare is kinda the embodiment of her younger selfish self so I suppose it would make sense she didn't think of that.
