Okay so I got that Halo anniversary thing andI just kind of got inspiration to at least get the flats down on an old sketch of mine. <3
I know the legs are wonky but I really have a LOT of trouble drawing elites. XD; So bear with me. XD;
Also sword. That thing gave me so much hell you can't even.
But I'm pretty happy with how this came out! Particularly the head and... Well, the general upper body, arms included.
I wish you could customize your elites a little more in Halo 2 and on. D: This would be a bit of a cliche' design, but I thought it up like YEARS ago, found an old picture, and used that color scheme. Because I like it. D:
Anyways, I won't sit here and bore anybody with my love for Halo. Just gonna.... Leave this here. XD

Awesome character, legs are not all that wonky as you think.
But the hands are a bit off, just a tad. ^^
Think two thumbs, and two index fingers, and there's their hand.

I modeled the hands after human hands, since that's all I had to go off of!

I only had the little book from Halo: Combat Evolved. XD; The little picture in the enemies section... I always liked how their faces looked in that, old graphics or not! XD

I'm kind of lacking in the 'vicious alien' department. I think this is only the second or third time I've ever drawn an elite it my entire life.

It makes me a little sad, honestly. When I think of elites, ESPECIALLY when they're wielding swords, I think of them snarling and reared up. Vicious, bloodthirsty, and totally ready to kick your ass. XD

I totally know what you mean. I've had those moments too, believe me when I tell you that it's a drag. Trying to get the bodily expressions and the facial expressions to sync perfectly and make your character actually look vicious instead of making him/her seem as if they have a weird smile on their face is quite a task for me as well.
