a minor upgrade to Niddler from The Pirates of Dark Water
potentially may use him as a modified/preflavored Aarakocra in a one-shot adventure. Building him up now for GM approval (might post build at some point).

TPoDW was an epic Saturday morning cartoon from the 1990s that was sadly short-lived without a true resolution. It was an open-world, episodic journey of scallywags, cut-throats and scoundrels as Ren, Ioz, Tula and Niddler tried to collect 7 ancient jewels to reclaim the planet from the cursed "Dark Water"and the vicious, relentless pirate Bloth.

I'd be curious to see how far it continued beyond the animation in either comics or juvenile novels (I have a vague recollection of them, but couldn't swear to their existence). With all the pirate-love that came about less than a decade later and persisted a decade more, it surprises me it never got a full rebirth on home video/DVD/stream. I personally rank this up there with X-men, Real Jonny Quest & Gargoyles as slightly darker themes that tried to present more mature storylines to kids and early teens.
